ITANAGAR: Tawang Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok on Tuesday called upon the officials of the district to prepare a defect-free electoral roll and to enroll all the eligible voters in the border district.
Addressing a meeting on electors’ verification in his office which was attended by SP SS Kalsi and departmental heads, the DC said that all the heads of departments should educate their staffs about the programme and ensure their full participation in making it successful, an official release informed.
The DC added that all the government employees must create impact on society by giving their service to society sincerely and any work besides their normal duty, should be for the upliftment of society which should be reflected in their self appraisal column.
Phuntsok further informed that the maiden 'Sarkar Apke Dwar' camp for the year 2019-20 for Tawang district would begin from Mago village on September 7. He instructed the departmental heads to prepare plans according to the need of villagers taking into past experience of such camps. Earlier, EAC (Election) Lobsang Tsetan, briefed about benefits, role and responsibilities of electors. He also spoke about online submission of forms, process to log in into NVSP Portal etc, the release added.
