A CORRESPONDENT
ROING: The Department of Agriculture, Lower Dibang Valley district, in collaboration with the District Kisan Morcha distributed seedlings and agricultural equipment and tools to 14 farmers to achieve the Central and State government's 2022 mission target for Kisan products under National Food Security Mission Schemes.
The Agriculture department team and the Kisan Morcha team headed by Daniel Perying along with district office bearers and members of the Mandals of Kisan Morcha distributed pulses, paddy, ragi, maize, soybean and blackgram seeds, chemicals and hand tools under the National Food Security Mission (NFSM) scheme to the selected farmers by the members of interim committee and also by the Bhartiya Kishan Kishan Morcha, Roing.
The team provided guidance to the farmers and highlighted the aims and objectives of the National Food Security Mission.
