Upgraded TRIHMS resumes normal function of the Hospital

ITANAGAR: Health Minister Alo Libang , Secretary Health P Parthiban visited the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS) to ensure preparedness of the hospital before resuming the normal functions of the Hospital after segregation of the COVID section.

Speaking to reporters, Minister Libang informed that TRIHMS has been sanitized after segregation of COVID- Hospital. All the patients have been shifted to extended Dedicated COVID Hospital at MLA Apartment, Chimpu or in Dedicated COVID Health Center (DCHC) Midpu according to their health conditions. The Minister also informed that the TRIHMS will resume its normal functions as per the hospital protocols.

"We have sanitized the hospital and all the normal function will be resumed from Tuesday' said Minister while adding that during last few months denizens had to face few problems after converting TRIHMS into dedicated COVID Hospital for time being but now the Hospital is COVID free and public can avail all its facilities. Director TRIHMS Dr Moji Jini extended his gratitude to all for extending support during the last few months and in making the MLA Apartment into an extended Dedicated COVID Hospital. He also informed that now TRIHMS have modern facilities like 'Special New-Born Care Unit' (SNUC) and the ICU facilities. "As of now, we have 1kg new born baby under SNUC' and how team taking proper care of the baby. Earlier we have no such facilities due to which many have to face issues in saving the lives.
