Wall collapse: AAPSU urges government to bear medical expenditure of injured student

ITANAGAR: Expressing concern over the collapse of a school wall and injuring a 6-year-old student at Government Residential school, Dariabil, Taraso under Papumpare district, team All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) led by its president Dozi Tana Tara visited the victim and urged the Department of Education to bear all the medical expenses.

President, AAPSU Dozi Tana stated 'it is the complete failure of the Department, as we have been informed that in many occasion villagers even students union of that area had apprised school authority about the poor condition of school infrastructure'.

However, despite the repeated plea authority has ignored it that causing the collapse of the wall and injuring a class 2 student, lamented President -AAPSU.

The left bone of the minor girl is completely broken and the parents are financially poor, so AAPSU urged the Education Department to bear the responsibility for the medical expenses, said Dozi.

He also added that team AAPSU will not tolerate any kind of compromise in the Education sector. If this is the condition of a government school near the state capital, then we can assume that what would be the conditions of the schools situated in far-flung areas, stated President AAPSU.
