Longding: The Longding Battalion of Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with the district police, apprehended an active self-styled Corporal of the NSCN- KYA from the forest colony near here on Friday.
Based on a specific input, the forces cordoned off and searched suspected houses and the self-styled Corporal was apprehended.
She was responsible for providing administrative and other necessary assistance to her associates of NSCN- KYA across the India-Myanmar border.
The apprehended insurgent has been handed over to the Longding Police Station for further investigation.
