Workshop on Technical Intern Training Program organized at Arunachal

ITANAGAR: The Department of Skill Development of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) organized a daylong workshop on the “Technical Intern Training Program” at Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, here on Friday.

Minister of Skill Development Tumke Bagra attending the occasion as the chief guest informed that the State Government has been giving top priority to provide opportunities to unemployed youths of the State by sending them abroad especially to advanced countries like Japan.

“Efforts have been made to help the young entrepreneurs in acquiring and learning new skills,” he said while informing the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu is planning to make the state unemployment free through such training of skill development.

Earlier, the officers from NSDC gave a power point presentation on the aims, objectives and achievements of the skill development and entrepreneurship programme.

Dr Manish Kumar, MD & CEO also addressed the trainees numbering around 300.

Meanwhile, Director Skill and Development Subu Tabin said every possible guidance and financial help would be extended to the young entrepreneurs of the State to go abroad to take part in internship training programmes on skill development.
