World Consumers Rights Day observed in Roing

ROING: The district Department of Legal Metrology & Consumers Affairs (DLMCA) organized the World Consumers Rights Day at the General Cooperative Society (GCS) complex near here on Tuesday.

Chairman of GCS, Miri Linggi in his short speech advised the traders to follow the guidelines of the Consumer Protection Act & Rules and provide quality products and services to the consumers. He also briefed the trading community of the town about various consumer rights and responsibilities.

Earlier on the day, Sarkar Aapke Dwar camp was also organized by the district administration in the remote circle headquarter of Desali. The camp was inaugurated by ZPM Mama Miso in the presence of Circle Officer Chuku Taba, GBs, government staff and public.

Around 14 government departments provided services to the public. A total of 355 people visited the camp and 252 availed services provided during the day. Eight soil health cards were issued during the camp.
