NALBARI: Md. Nur Hussain Ahmed, a fourth grade employee of Gadamalla Bujarbarua Chandakuchi PHC at Ghilla Chowk in Nalbari district, has spent 12 valuable years of his life serving the people of the area without regularization of his service since 2009. Being the lone fourth grade employee of the PHC, he is bound to do all work for a meagre amount paid by the managing committee.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been serving as a frontline warrior. He even tested positive for COVID-19 and is now back on duty after recovery. He has a family of four members and with his meagre pay he is finding it difficult to run his family. Local people have urged the government to regularize his service.
