GOLAGHAT: 142 Battalion, CRPF organized Civic Action Programme under financial year 2019-20 at Sector ‘C’ DAB area Uriamghat in Assam-Nagaland border of Golaghat district on Monday and distributed water tank (Syntax) for needy people in bordering areas.
On the occasion, Ratul Das, Second-In-Command (Commandant AOL) 142 Bn. CRPF, Chandan Kumar, Assistant Commandant (Sector Commander ‘D’ DAB), Inspector G. Paramasivam, Officer Commanding, Inspector Paolen Changloi, officer commanding and officers of State Police, civil dignitaries as well as local people were also present in the programme.
In the programme, Ratul Das, Commandant (AOL) informed that Civic Action Programme was an initiative to maintain cordial relation between locals and men in uniform. Beneficiaries from villages of Uriamghat were present at the function.
