16 more persons tested corona positive in Kokrajhar

Sixteen more persons tested corona positive in Kokrajhar their samples were collected on May 29 & May 30 while the results were declared on June 9

KOKRAJHAR: Sixteen more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Kokrajhar. The infected persons were from different quarantine centres of Kokrajhar and hail from Kokrajhar, Baksa and Dhubri districts. The samples were collected at RN Brahma Civil Hospital, Kokrajhar on May 29 and May 30 while the results were declared on June 9.

Most of them are between 18 and 52 years of age and they returned from Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Pune, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Gurgaon. Of the 16 positive cases, twelve are from Kokrajhar district, one from Baksa and three from Dhubri district.

These persons have been identified as Saton Bibi (30/F), Manuwar Hussain (18/M), Paramendra Rabha (27/M), Amirul Islam (22/M), Moinal Hoque (18/M), Injamal Hoque (26/M), Jakir Hussain (41/M), Hajmuk Mandal (35/M), Montu Kisko (25/M), Amulya Das (35/M), Nirash Chandra Barman (26/M), Hitesh Boro (29/M), Krishna Choudhury (52/M), Afiruddin (23/M), Abdul Kabir Ahmed (25/M) and Galinoor (/27/F).
