24th Bn SSB Rangia imparts pre-recruitment training to 455 Border youths in Baksa

The 24th Bn SSB Rangia successfully conducted the second phase of its ‘Pre-Recruitment Training’ for the youths of the Indo-Bhutan Border area from July 12 to July 17.

BAKSA: The 24th Bn SSB Rangia successfully conducted the second phase of its 'Pre-Recruitment Training' for the youths of the Indo-Bhutan Border area from July 12 to July 17.

The closing ceremony of the a week-long programme was held at the Kumarikata Community Hall in the presence Commandant of 24th Bn SSB, Rangia Hrishikesh Sharma, on Saturday.

This is the far-sightedness of the Central Government and the Force Headquarters of Sashastra Seema Bal, New Delhi who envisaged securing the country by enrolling educated unemployed youth of Indo-Bhutan border area into Central Armed Police Forces. The aim of this training was to encourage physically strong and educated youth of poor and backward Bodo tribals and other Tribals of Indo-Bhutan Border area for joining in Armed Police Forces and meet the necessary recruitment criteria.

In this training session, officers of 24th Bn SSB Rangia have supervised the training classes and made them aware of the basic selection criteria into Armed Forces and also of the relaxation of the criteria for the candidates from the SCs, STs and OBCs communities besides topics about PST/PET etc. were also given in depth-knowledge in which 455 youths in both the first and the second pre-recruitment training. Youths (male and female) of the border areas participated in this training.

Hrishikesh Sharma, Commandant of 24th Bn SSB addressed the closing ceremony of the 2nd phase of this training and said that this training will enable local border area youths and girls in achieving their dreams of joining forces and assured them if they will practice daily what they learnt in the training then they can take advantages of it during the time of recruitment in Armed Police Forces. At this closing ceremony, Deepak Savita, Deputy Commandant, other officers of 24th Bn SSB and prominent local persons were also present.
