BONGAIGAON: Three more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital in Chirang district after their complete recovery on Monday. All these patients had travel history and were admitted to Jwhwlao Swmbla Basumatary Civil Hospital at Kajalgaon. Gagan Narzary, DIPRO, Chirang said that with these three patients, the total number of COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals across the district rose to 36. "Chirang district has so far registered 71 COVID-19 positive cases, while active cases are 38.The discharged patients are Wazed Ali (22) from Madarpur village under Bengtal Review Circle, Saddam Hussain (20) from No.2 Goraimari and Mahima Narzary (24) from Malivita village under Bengtal Revenue Circle. They are advised compulsory 14-day home quarantine by the district health authority," he said.
