3 New Bridges Inaugurated By Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma In Dhemaji Today

The three bridges inaugurated by the Assam CM were built under various schemes of the central and the state government.

Dhemaji: On Thursday, the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated 3 bridges in Dhemaji.

The bridges were built under various schemes of the central and the state government.

The first bridge that was inaugurated has been built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY 2017-2018) scheme over the Fatiha-Bardubi rivulet that flows along the Bengenagora-Kothalguri road.

The second bridge has been built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY 2018-2019) scheme and connects the Dusutimukh village to the Kaitong village.

The third bridge has been built over the Batua river that flows along the Batua-Rangkup road. This bridge has been made under the Chief Minister's special package.

The Assam Chief Minister was joined by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, Finance and Social Welfare Minister Ajanta Neog and Member of Parliament Pradan Baruah in the inauguration ceremony.

This news was shared by the Chief Minister on his official Twitter handle. He wrote, "Improving road connectivity across the state is crucial for holistic economic growth. Inaugurated 3 bridges in Dhemaji today. Over Fatiha-Bardubi rivulet on Bengenagora-Kothalguri road (PMGSY 2017-18). Dusutimukh-Kaitong connecting bridge (PMGSY 2018-19). Over Batua River on Batua- Rangkup road under CM's Special Package. Compliments to PWD team! Ministers @ranojpeguassam, @AjantaNeog & MP @PradanBaruah also joined.
