500 Bihu dancers selected from Tinsukia district to perform in presence of PM Modi

DOOMDOOMA/DIGBOI: In view of performance of Bihu dance by more than 10,000 Bihua-Bihuwatis in a single venue to set a world record in presence of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on April 14 at Xaruxajai Stadium, Guwahati, a total of 500 selected Bihua and Bihuwatis from all the constituencies of Tinsukia district will participate in this world record-setting historical Bihu dance performance. For that the 500 selected Bihu dancers from Tinsukia, Doomdooma, Margherita, Digboi and Sadiya Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LAC) of the district took part in the final district level Bihu rehearsals on Saturday at Jubilee Ground, Digboi. The district administration already took all the necessary measures for the successful organization of the final rehearsal at the district level.
