DHUBRI: The 53rd National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was observed by Bilasipara College with a day-long programmes on Saturday. The NSS volunteers took out a procession which was flagged off and programme inaugurated by the president of the governing body of Bilasipara College, Goutam Chowdhury. A meeting was also held on the occasion wherein, Principal of Bilasipara College, Dr Biswajit Biswas and Program Officer of NSS, Dr Hari Charan Das delivered lectures on the duties and activities of the NSS volunteers. Babita Banikya, a music teacher of Sankar Deva Sishu Aru Vidya Niketan, Bilasipara was present as a guest of honour in the meeting.
