7th Rongali Bihu Sanmilan at BCPL celebrates Bihu in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: BCPL Staff Welfare Committee in association with BCPL celebrated the 7th Rongali Bihu Sanmilan at BCPL Township recently. The event was inaugurated by Pruthiviraj Dash Director (Finance) and Swahid Tarpan was done by the BCPL family. Traditional games like koni juj, tekeli bhonga (breaking the pot) and other fun games were performed with great zeal. A Bihuwoti Competition was also organized during the event. The cultural evening was inaugurated by Reep Hazarika, Managing Director of BCPL.

Nandini Kashyap, a national award winner and daughter of Dhol Samrat Somnath Borah Oja and her group mesmerized the audience with her beautiful display of musical folk instrument Dhol, Pepa , Gagana, khol, flute, taal and Negera. The main attraction of the cultural evening was performance by renowned music composer and singer Nilotpal Bora.
