GAURISAGAR: In the first phase of Assam Assembly polls, voting concluded peacefully in 103 no. Amguri LAC. Since morning, voters from various parts of the constituency turned up to cast their vote. The average poll percentage was more than 80 per cent. In the morning, AGP-BJP candidate Prodip Hazakia cast his vote in the polling station at 74 No. Bhuyanhat LP School. On the other hand, Congress candidate Dr Angkita Dutta cast her vote in 101 No. Amguri Girls' High School polling station. Due to technical fault in the EVM of No. 112 polling station of Borbam TE LP School, polling began more than an hour late.
