DIBRUGARH: "A force has been ruling the country from Nagpur," said Rahul Gandhi without mentioning the name of any organization while he was interacting with the students of Lahowal College in Dibrugarh District.

Landing at Mohanbari Airport, he along with his entourage rushed to Mottock Tea Estate, where he met students of Lahowal College. He called upon the students to take active part in the democratic system so that 'reign of looting' comes to an end. Gandhi advised the students that they should continue their struggle peacefully instead of violence. He further stated that during the BJP's rule, the incidents of hate, violence has been increasing.

"Development is only possible when peace prevails in the State," said Gandhi.

He further underlined that the Congress always prefers peace and during its regime all-round development took place. He further stated that the unemployment crisis has increased due to the BJP's policy of selling everything including airports.

The ruling BJP has threatened the Assamese language by trying to impose the CAA in the State, he added.

Gandhi also attended a public meeting at Chabua in support of the Congress candidate.
