AASU hands over Swahid Bhavans in Darrang to be used as COVID Centres

The All Darrang District Students’ Union (ADDSU), in a very praiseworthy and exemplary initiative, has handed over seven Swahid Bhavans, including the head office of the ADDSU at Mangaldai, to the district administration to be used as COVID Care Centre.

MANGALDAI: The All Darrang District Students' Union (ADDSU), in a very praiseworthy and exemplary initiative, has handed over seven Swahid Bhavans, including the head office of the ADDSU at Mangaldai, to the district administration to be used as COVID Care Centre.

Besides its head office at Mangaldai, the Swahid Bhavans at Dalgaon, Deomornoi, Kuruwa, Duni, Pacchim Darrang and at Sipajhar were handed over to the district administration on Saturday. In a letter addressed to Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah, ADDSU president Parag Kumar Saharia and general secretary Satya Ranjan Deka, while reiterating the commitment of the AASU towards the people of the district, expressing their willingness to hand over the Swahid Bhavans.

This initiative of the ADDSU has been highly appreciated by people from all walks of life. Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah also welcomed the benevolence of the ADDSU in this hour of crisis.
