AATASU, Golaghat activists burnt Dhing MLA Aminul Islam’s effigy

GOLAGHAT: The activists of All Assam Tai Ahom Students’ Union (AATASU) Golaghat district committee burnt the effigy of Dhing constituency MLA Aminul Islam on Wednesday at Tokani Circle of Golaghat town in protest against his alleged comments on the Ahom community. More than 100 activists gathered at the statue of Chaolung Sukapha near Tokani Circle of Golaghat town and shouted various against Dhing constituency MLA Aminul Islam. The AATASU demanded that he should apologize publically otherwise legal action would be taken.
