TEZPUR: The Teaching Learning Centre (TLC), Tezpur University is gearing up for a week-long online faculty development program (FDP) on implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in higher educational institutions to be held during April 26 and May 2, 2023.
Faculty members from various colleges and universities are expected to participate in the upcoming FDP. The programme will highlight implementation strategies for various aspects of NEP 2020, including Role of Policy in Higher Education, Access Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education, Curriculum and Pedagogy in NEP 2020, Enabling Learner Support for Optimal Learning, Innovative Teaching, Multidisciplinary Research, Digital Education/ Technology Enabled Learning, Regulation and Quality Assurance etc. Renowned educationists and academic administrators like Dr Shakila Shamsu, former OSD, National Education Policy 2020, Prof. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities, and others will interact with the participants. There will be a special panel discussion on May 1, 2023 which will be attended by the Vice-Chancellors from around six universities of India.
Participation in this week-long FDP will help the participants to understand the nitty-gritty of implementation of NEP so that the same can be implemented in their respective institutions in its true letter and spirit.
