ACS candidates felicitated in Mangaldai

Various social organizations of Mangaldai including the premier media organization, MMC have greeted and congratulated Dr Jebin Gulnar, the 3rd rank holder in the ACS examination results.

MANGALDAI: Various social organizations of Mangaldai including the premier media organization, Mangaldai Media Circle ( MMC) have greeted and congratulated Dr Jebin Gulnar, the 3rd rank holder in the ACS examination results.

The office bearers of MMC namely its adviser Hitesh Hazarika, president Bhargab Kumar Das and Secretary Mayukh Goswami met Jebin at her Adhikari residence near here and greeted her with a 'phulam bihuwan' in presence of her father Hafijur Rahman and mother Meher Afjun Begam. Jebin, a former student of KV Mangaldai who has cracked ACS on her first attempt already passed her degree in Veterinary Science from College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati with flying colours.

The scribes' body also greeted the other two successful ACS candidates of greater Mangaldai Bhaskaryya Deka and Hitesh Boro in their residences at Santipur and Bongalagarh respectively. Bhaskaryya, the youngest son of retired Additional Director of Agriculture Nila Kanta Deka and also an alumnus of KV, Mangaldai got his Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in 2015. He is presently serving as the GST Inspector by cracking SSC examination. He also has the unique credit of scripting two English novels titled ' Caught in a storm' and 'Unwanted shadow' while studying in college.

Hitesh Boro the only son of veteran folk artiste Nagen Boro studied in Mangaldai Town Boys LP School and Paschim Rangamati High School before completing PG in Physics from GU. Hitesh was also a district level volleyball player. Bhobarnob Pratim Nath , the 32nd rank holder in APS exam was also greeted by the scribes body here at his residence at Ward no 1. Bhobarnob, the younger son of retired BSNL employee and a veteran trade union leader Roz Nath has completed his MA in English Literature from Tezpur Central University. He was the eight rank holder in the State in the HS (arts) final examination. Apart from these four, Karabi Bania of Baniapara at Sipajhar has topped the list of successful aspirants in Assam Police Service (APS) while Nabajit Bhagawati of Thekerbari village near here has been ranked 94th in Assam Civil Service.
