Additional Director General of the Northeast Zone, CRPF Binod Kumar Singh visits Shillong

JAGIROAD: The Additional Director General of the Northeast Zone, CRPF Binod Kumar Singh, visited Shillong on Friday to strengthen security measures. Binod Kumar Singh got engaged in discussions and assessments related to security dynamics in the region. The visit underscored the CRPF’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of Meghalaya. During the visit, the ADG held high-level meetings with Anurag Agrawal, Inspector General, North-Eastern Sector Headquarters, Ram Charan Meena, DIG, Anil Kumar Dhyani, DIG, Anil Kumar, DIG Range CRPF Guwahati, Alok Bhattacharya, Commandant-67 BN, CRPF, and key stakeholders, including local government officials, law enforcement agencies, and security experts. These discussions revolved around the evolving security challenges in the region and the collaborative efforts required to address them effectively. The Additional Director General also reviewed the ongoing initiatives undertaken by 67 BN and CRPF personnel in Meghalaya and acknowledged their dedication and commitment to maintaining peace and security. The ADG also visited the North-Eastern Sector Headquarters of the CRPF at Bishop Cotton Road, Stoney Haven, Shillong, and observed firsthand the operational readiness and capabilities of the CRPF units in the area.
