KOKRAJHAR: After visiting three districts of Goalpara, Dhubri and Bongaigain, a two-member team of the Assam Human Rights Commission (AHRC) comprising its chairperson Justice T. Vaiphei and Deva Kumar Saikia visited Kokrajhar to take stock of the ground situation in the quarantine centres and district jail. The team also held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar district, Bhaskar Phukan where various issues related to the situation in the quarantine centres and district jail were discussed.
