Air Marshal Amit Dev visits Chabua Air Force Station

Air Marshal Amit Dev, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command arrived on a day's visit to Air Force Station, Chabua - the Eastern most fighter base of IAF, on Tuesday.

TEZPUR: Air Marshal Amit Dev, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command arrived on a day's visit to Air Force Station, Chabua - the Eastern most fighter base of IAF, on Tuesday. On arrival, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief was received by Air Commodore Vikas Sharma VM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Chabua. The Air Marshal was presented a ceremonial Guard of Honour by the smartly turned out air warriors of the base.

During the visit, the Air Marshal inspected various operational units and key installations at the station to assess their operational preparedness. He was also briefed on the ongoing modern infrastructure development projects aimed at improving the combat potential of the base. The Air Marshal addressed and interacted with the station personnel and directed them to maintain high standards of safety, operational preparedness and security awareness. The Air Marshal also reviewed all measures taken towards the prevalent COVID-19 pandemic and emphasized the importance of ensuring operational capabilities through diligent planning and utilization of resources during these challenging times. The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief conveyed his appreciation for the deep involvement and commitment to duty displayed by all personnel of the station and advised them to stay fit and remain vigilant.
