JAGIROAD: The All Assam Minorities Students’ Union (AAMSU) on Monday burnt the effigy of State Power Minister Nandita Garlosa at Paliguri under Jagiroad PS.
The AAMSU activists said that the Power Mminister had totally failed to improve the APDCL. Consumers were being harassed due to frequent power cuts and enhanced power bills in the name of smart meters. The Jagiroad unit of the AAMSU demanded uninterrupted power supply in the area.
