MORIGAON: The inauguration of the office of the reception committee for celebration of the Maharajat Jayanti of the All Assam Subordinate Agriculture Officers’ Association (AAJAO) took place with cutting of the red-ribbon at old agriculture office premises on Monday. The MLA of Morigaon constituency Ramakanta Deuri inaugurated the office of the reception committee in presence of the Deputy Commissioner Devashis Sarma, DAO-cum-president of the reception committee, Ashok Kr. Sarma, president of AASAOA Budha Kr. Nath and working president of the reception committee Rajen Deka and other central committee members of the association. The secretary of the reception committee Dibyajyoti Hazarika conducted the programme. The meeting decided to take out 75 various cultural troops across the town. The sub committees have been formed to celebrate the Maharajat Jayanti of the association.
