JAMUGURIHAT: The All Jamuguri All Assam Students' Union (AASU) organized Swahid Divas at Sapta Swahid Bedi located in front of Jamuguri HSS to pay homage to the seven martyrs of the Assam Agitation who had lost their lives at Laletapu in the southern part of Jamugurihat on this day in 1983.
Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika lit earthen lamps and offered floral tribute in front of the statues of seven martyrs located in front of Jamuguri HSS on Sunday.
