Alumni meet of Zoology Department held in Chaiduar College, Gohpur

An alumni meet was held in Chaiduar College, Gohpur on Wednesday in the Department of Zoology. The event conducted by Utpal Borah, Associate Professor, brought together a multitude of accomplished individuals who have passed through the esteemed department’s doors, highlighting their collective achievements and fostering a sense of camaraderie.

BISWANATH CHARIALI: An alumni meet was held in Chaiduar College, Gohpur on Wednesday in the Department of Zoology. The event conducted by Utpal Borah, Associate Professor, brought together a multitude of accomplished individuals who have passed through the esteemed department’s doors, highlighting their collective achievements and fostering a sense of camaraderie. Inaugurating the programme, Dr Kishor Singh Rajput, the Principal, highlighted the achievements of the Zoology Department and shared the college’s future plans for further development.

Dr Mohini Mohan Borah, the Head of the Zoology Department, greeted the alumni, faculty, and current students with warmth and gratitude and emphasized the pivotal role played by the department in nurturing budding scientists and creating a strong foundation for future research and discoveries. Janmoni Borah, an alumni and Assistant Professor, Barnagar College, Barpeta shared updates on recent trend research, academic initiatives, and scope of collaborations with other research institutions and universities. During the meeting, Amit Pegu, an alumni and research scholar, Gauhati University shared his experiences and success stories. Another alumni Jutimoee Dutta delivered her talk on preparation for Civil Service Examination.
