Ambulances distributed to BTR hospitals at ceremonial programme held at BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: As a part of the BTC government initiative towards developing infrastructure in the health sector, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro in presence of EM of Health and Family Welfare Arup Dey handed over 11 ambulances and 4 dead body carrying vans for use in different hospitals in the four districts of BTR at a ceremonial programme held at BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar.

Of the 11 ambulances, 4 ambulances are for Baksa, 3 for Udalguri and 2 each for Kokrajhar and Chirang district, while the dead body carrying van were distributed to civil hospitals in each districts. Speaking on the occasion, BTC Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro said the ambulances were distributed to strengthen the infrastructure of the health sector in BTR. The programme was attended by BTC executive member for Health Arup Kumar Dey, Director of health services.
