Ananta Sajyya gifted to CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on completing 100 days

NALBARI: On the occasion of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma completing 100 days in office, he was gifted a memento of Lord Vishnu's Ananta Sajyya (bed) made of wood by Deepak Rajbongshi at the CM's residence on Friday.

"I am very happy and grateful to Deepak Rajbongshi for his aesthetic work and I promise to be his guest soon," said the CM. Deepak Rajbongshi, a carpenter by profession, lives at Balikaria, Nalbari and he is an ardent follower of the Chief Minister. He sings folk songs, especially Nagara naam. He used wood, wood powder and Fevicol to make this bed and spent about Rs 50,000.
