Anti-Corruption Youth Power fetes journalists in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: Anti-Corruption Youth Power, Asom feted the Lakhimpur headquarter journalists-cum-North Lakhimpur Press Club members on Wednesday on the occasion of the Rongali Bihu.

In this connection, a ceremonial programme was organized by the organization at North Lakhimpur Press Club conference hall. Anti-Corruption Youth Power, Asom central committee assistant secretary Likhan Khataniar, spokesperson Madhurya Baruah, Lakhimpur district unit secretary Mridul Mahanta, assistant secretary Ananta Neog attended the programme on behalf of the organization.

In the event, the dignitaries of the organization felicitated the Lakhimpur district headquarter journalists-cum-North Lakhimpur Press Club members with phulam gamosa. Moreover, the organization appreciated the journalists for their relentless service to the society as well as to their profession with a citation presented to the North Lakhimpur Press Club. Working president Dipen Borah and secretary Karuna Krishna Nath received the citation on behalf of the press club. In connection, the office bearers and the members of the organization also held an interactive session with the journalists on various issues.
