Howraghat: A number of youth leaders of Karbi Anglong BJP have reacted against All Party Hills Leaders Conference (APHLC) president JI Kathar. They alleged that he was misleading people of Karbi Anglong by spreading false narratives regarding the under construction flyover of Diphu town, in a press conference.
Member of Autonomous Council Johny Timung, Avijit Kro, Dr. Mongve Rongpi, Phenpiga H. Rengma, BJP-ST Morcha Assam Pradesh general secretary Longsing Tokbi, influential leaders like Sarthe Kramsa, Mohon Tisso, and Simeon Rongphar were present in the press meet.
Member of Autonomous Council Avijit Kro told media persons that J I Kathar should abstain from spreading falsehood and negativity about the growth and expansion started by BJP-ruled Karbi Autonomous Council.
He informed the media that the council authority had arranged for proper repositioning of the Rongpharpi Rongbe statue in a suitable place. Assam Pradesh ST-Morcha secretary Longsing Tokbi clarified that the cost of this flyover project had been funded by the Chief Minister from his special package. He condemned the APHLC leader's attitude.
