TINSUKIA: Appointment letters were distributed to the newly-appointed office bearers of the District Congress in a meeting held at Congress Bhawan, Tinsukia on Wednesday with Pronab Baruah, president of Tinsukia District Congress, in the chair.
Rana Goswami, the State working president of APCC, who was present as chief guest, urged the workers to put in their best efforts for the party. He also emphasized the importance of proper planning. He stressed the need for all office bearers to visit the booth level and engage with the party workers there. Pronab Baruah requested every official to work tirelessly with conviction for the upcoming Panchayat elections and the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. It is expected that the officials will work diligently to strengthen the party and achieve success in these elections, he said. Suruj Dehingia, general secretary of APCC, and Abinesh Gogoi, secretary of APCC, all Block Congress Committee presidents, Raju Sahu, former Chabua MLA, and other leaders were present along with other dignitaries
