GAURISAGAR: Asom Yuva Parishad (AYP) under the AGP Amguri constituency committee on Friday burnt the effigy of Baghbor MLA Serman Ali at GaurisagarTiniali on NH-37 on Sivasagar evening for advocating the establishment of Miya Museum at SrimantaSankardevKalakshetra, Assam. The activists shouted various slogans against Congress MLA Serman Ali.

The protest programme was initiated by SudarshanHazarika, organizing secretary, AsomYuvaParishad State executive PulakeshGogoi, AGP Sivasagar district committee secretary NityaKalita and more than 100 activists who took part and blocked the National Highway for half an hour.
