Assam: 10-Year-Old Boy Baffles People With His Knowledge About the Indo-China War

JAMUGURIHAAT: A ten-year-old boy managed to surprise a large number of people with his knowledge regarding the Indo-China war. The boy belongs to the Itakhola region of the state.

The name of the child is Om Ayushman Rajbongshi. Apart from giving accurate details regarding the battle, he also gives accurate details regarding how the martyrs of the war were shot and where they received bullet injuries during the battle. He can also answer any queries regarding the war.

He wished to become a missile expert when he grows up. With his keen interest in the sector, the ten-year-old also has very good knowledge and even draws a variety of missiles in his notebooks. And with his in-depth knowledge about the war, the parents believe him to be the rebirth of one of the martyrs of the war.

People from the locality, as well as neighbouring regions, are baffled by his knowledge regarding the details of an incident that took place in 1962, almost 61 years ago.

The Sino-Indian War which is also called the Indo-China War. It is also known as the Indo-China War of 1962 or the Sino-Indian War of 1962. This battle took place between China and India between October and November 1962. It was a military action regarding the border dispute between India and China. The fight took place along the international border, in India's North-East Frontier Agency east of Bhutan as well as the Aksai Chin west region of Nepal.

Taking chances of the Cuban Missile Crisis in the West, China abandoned all peace talks and invaded the disputed territories along the 3225 km border in Ladakh as well as the McMahon line in the North East Frontier Agency. The Chinese troops pushed back the Indian forces in both sectors and laid claims on the new areas. The war came to an end with the withdrawal of the Chinese troops on 20 November 1962.
