DHUBRI: Based on information regarding a long-time gambling den in the house of one Bapan Saha in Bilasipara, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Bilasipara and OC Bilasipara Police Station of Dhubri district, IPS Probationer, Rajat Pal, along with staff conducted search on Monday morning and recovered one firearm, 2 fired ammunition and huge quantities of playing cards used in gambling, and ‘teer’ tickets apart from mobile phones and other articles.
Two persons, identified as Joydeep Saha and Samar Paul, both of Bilasipara town, have been arrested so far, police sources informed.
