Assam: 24th BN Sashastra Seema Bal, Rangia conducts tailoring course

Under the supervision of Deepak Singh, Commandant, 24th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal, Rangia, a 30-day tailoring course was conducted from December 8 to January 8 at the “Khadigram Udyog Vidyalaya” training centre under the “civic action programme of the SSB.

KUMARIKATA: Under the supervision of Deepak Singh, Commandant, 24th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal, Rangia, a 30-day tailoring course was conducted from December 8 to January 8 at the “Khadigram Udyog Vidyalaya” training centre under the “civic action programme of the SSB.

During this tailoring course, 20 men and women from the border area were given training on sewing various types of clothes.

During the closing ceremony of the tailoring course, all the trainees were addressed by the chief guest, Moti Lal, Deputy Commandant, 24th Bn Rangia (Assam), along with the instructor of “Khadigram Udyog Vidyalaya,” a press release said.

In his address, the DC said that from time to time, 24th SSB Bn Rangia imparts training to the youth and women on such beneficial subjects for the public interest. During this programme, certificates were also given to all the trainees after they qualified for the course. Every possible effort is being made by the 24th Bn Sashastra Seema Bal to improve training on such a subject so that youths and students of the AoR could be trained professionally. He said that our aim is service, security, and brotherhood; we will always be ready for the welfare of the border populace. The border citizens present in the programmeme looked very excited and appreciated the programmeme a lot. Sanoj Raj, Navneet Kumar Yadav, Piyush Kr. Pathak, Assistant Commandant of the 24th Bn, and other force personnel were also present during this programme, a press release said.
