JAGIROAD: Jagiroad police on Tuesday night arrested six cyber criminals and recovered a large number of SIM cards, bank passbooks and mobile phones.
Jagiroad police team led by OC Mun Prakash Tiwary raided two houses at Nakhola grant village under Jagiroad PS and nabbed six cyber criminals. The arrested were identified as Mafid Ali (Rajasthan), Rafik Islam, Abdul Jalil (Jagiroad), Baharul Islam, Abul Kalam (Bilasipara) and Ali Ullah of Moirabari.
Police recovered 1,243 SIM cards, cash Rs1.5 lakh, ATM cards,13 mobile phones, one Maruti Swift Dzire car and many fake papers. A female accused fled the scene before police arrived. Investigation is on.
