Assam: 71st Senior National Volleyball Tournament To Start From 2nd February

GUWAHATI : The Senior National Volleyball tournament will be organised in Guwahati from 2nd to 9th February, 2023. This is the 71st edition of the event where players from the volleyball world plays against each other in teams. 

Senior Indian team players and the new age volleyball youths will put their best foot forward to snatch away the ariel volleys. The teams have already began their training and are all geared up to lift the trophy. The live auction will begin on the ESILive YouTube channel. 

As per the statement of officials of the Assam Volleyball Association, few senior Indian teams have reached the city to shine on the tournament. Guwahati is all decked up for the upcoming events in the state. 

Guwahati will host an inception meeting from 6th of February to 8th of February, which will be addressed by Anurag Thakur, the minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. The first Y20 group meeting will be held in IIT-G from the mentioned date. 

The Summit will provide an opportunity to the students to voice up their opinions for the audience worldwide. It is one of the eight official engagement groups under the G20 umbrella. The Y20 India Summit 2023 will illustrate youth centric efforts of India and offer an opportunity to demonstrate its values, importance and policies, in a view to make India's leadership surpass other youth cohort. 

The theme that has been selected for the summit will promote Indian leadership on these issues to both domestic and global audiences. Over 250 dignitaries from all over the world are scheduled to attend the meeting and participate in the 3-day event in Assam. 

The Youth 20 India Summit will bring together the trustees of our future generations from across the G20 countries to deliberate, discuss, and deduce innovative, sustainable, and actionable solutions, especially in the realm of social development. Over 12,000 college/university students are expected to participate in these events.
