Assam: AIUDF chief Badrauddin Ajmal urged muslims to restrain from any provocation during inauguration of Ram Mandir

Welcoming the inauguration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, the AIUDF chief Badrauddin Ajmal said, the ruling party leaders had overlooked the advice of the four Shankarachayas only to whip up religious sentiment exclusively for electoral purpose.

Silchar: Welcoming the inauguration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, the AIUDF chief Badrauddin Ajmal said, the ruling party leaders had overlooked the advice of the four Shankarachayas only to whip up religious sentiment exclusively for electoral purpose. Speaking here with the media persons, Ajmal said, the four religious heads of the Hindus had cautioned that the time that had been chosen for ‘pran pratishtha’ of Lord Ram was not at all auspicious, but to reap dividend in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election, the ruling party had fixed the date on January 22. Ajmal expressed apprehension that the way religious sentiment was being whipped up, particularly among the youths, might bounce back and will cause social unrest. “I appeal to all to restrain their passion, particularly I appeal to the Muslims not to fall prey to any provocation,” Ajmal said.

Badrauddin Ajmal who was in Barak Valley in a two day trip, said, the Muslims in India wholeheartedly welcome the inauguration of Ram Mandir and asked all the people to follow the ideals the Lord Ram had established throughout his life.
