KOKRAJHAR: Along with the rest of the State, the Amrit Kalash Yatra was organized by the Kokrajhar Municipal Board (KMB) on Wednesday in Kokrajhar town.
Flagged off by MLA Lawrence Islary, the Kalash Yatra started from Government HS&MP School playground to Kokrajhar Municipal Board office where the collected soil from various places of the district was brought to KMB. The collection of soil from different parts of the district was done earlier. The soil brought to KMB will be sent to Guwahati. Chairperson of KMB, Pratibha Brahma, and others took part in the Kalash Yatra.
