Assam: Basistha Temple to Illuminate with 1 Lakh Diyas for Ram Mandir Consecration

ASSAM: The Basistha Temple in Guwahati is an embodiment of cultural legacy and will illuminate with a hundred thousand diyas on January 22nd. The occasion celebrates the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, and a group of enthusiastic youngsters from the area have initiated this community activity independently without any political or organizational support.

These young men and women have made an unconventional decision to celebrate the historic establishment of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, despite longstanding disapproval. Without any affiliation with a party or organization, this initiative highlights their collective spirit within the community. The vibrant participation of each and every state of India adds to the colourful congregation of the event. 

The preparations for the big event are already in full swing as organizers have established a donation center at Basistha Chariali. This hub enables individuals to donate materials, demonstrating how the community is united in bringing triumph to this occasion. The youths spearheading this initiative conveyed their appreciation for all the positive reception from people who contributed vital donations generously.

During an interview with our reporters, the organizers expressed their enthusiasm regarding the continuous preparations and the favorable feedback from the community. This initiative not only showcases their commitment but also highlights Basistha's harmonious coexistence among its people.

Before the celebration, the Basistha Temple is being transformed and will be at its center. The ancient temple's aesthetic appeal will be improved by decorating it with vibrant flowers to add significance to this special occasion.
