Assam: Bollywood Actor Sharman Joshi Visits Kaziranga National Park

Actor Sharman Joshi said that he had heard a lot about Assam and its serene beauty as a result of which he decided to visit the state on a four-day friendly trip.

Guwahati: The Kaziranga National Park in Assam is a sight to behold for tourists who come here from different parts of the world to experience its mesmerizing beauty.

Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi was the latest addition to the long list of prominent figures who have visited this breathtaking destination. He visited the Agoratoli Range in Kaziranga National Park in Assam on April 22.

The actor is on a short friendly trip to Kaziranga and has praised the people of Assam by saying that he was taken aback with the love and respect showered by the people of Assam.

While speaking to the media, actor Sharman Joshi said that he had heard a lot about Assam and its serene beauty as a result of which he decided to visit the state on a four-day friendly trip.

He also went on to say that he wants to bring his family on his next visit to Assam, especially in Kaziranga and Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya.

Furthermore, Sharman said that he was fascinated by watching the hand movements and footsteps of the Assamese Bihu Dance on the night of April 21 at a hotel in Bokakhat.

Meanwhile, the 'Three Idiot' fame also announced his upcoming film 'Aankh Micholi' which is set to hit the screens in May this year.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had been invited by the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) to visit the park. The 'Thank You' gesture came after the actor donated Rs 1 crore for the animal welfare of the park.

The actor donated the amount back in 2019 under the chief minister's relief fund. He observed the catastrophic situation of wild animals during the Assam floods and said that he was absolutely heartbroken to know about the devastating impact of the floods in Assam.
