TINSUKIA: Among the several books released in the on-going Assam Book Fair at Tinsukia, a travelogue written by Pranjal Pratim Dutta, a Tinsukia-based eco-entrepreneur and environmental activist earned wide appreciation from nature lovers. Published by Grabtha Bartta Publication Guwahati, the book titled ‘On the Wheel’ (Xihoronkari Durgam Jatrar Dosthabej) detailed his experiences while travelling in remote and picturesque places of Arunachal Pradesh. The book was released by noted novelist and fiction writer Baidurjya Baruah in presence of his parents-Dr Nareswar Dutta and Dr Mayarani Das Dutta, senior journalist Rishi Das, Prof Ajit Phukan and being attended by a gathering of distinguished personalities and family members. A diehard eco-tourist, Dutta opened an eco-tourism camp at Santipur Sadiya in Tinsukia district to promote traditional tourism with local cuisine.
