Assam: Cachar Police seized drugs worth Rs 6 crore; 4 arrested

Silchar : Based on a credible intelligence input, the Cachar Police had conducted a special operation against the transportation of narcotic substances at Fulertol, Lakhipur and apprehended four suspects and recovered 38 soap cases suspected to be heroine weighing approximately 500 grams and 15,800 (fifteen thousand eight hundred) Yaba tablets from their possession. Arrested persons had been identified as Thang Hmong Hmar, Bieksang, Ebenezer Thiek all from Shivapuri Khal, Manipur and Patrick Pudaita, Lakhipur, Cachar.
