Assam Chah Janagosthi Shiksha Sanskriti Nyas Celebrates 3rd Foundation Day

Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria graced the occasion as chief guest and highlighted the role of Vidya Bharati in the entire nation.

GUWAHATI: The Assam Chah Janagosthi Shiksha Sanskriti Nyas commemorated its 3rd Foundation Day on 20 August at the PWD Convention & Training Centre in Guwahati. This special day was dedicated to reflecting upon the inception of the organization and its founders, as well as rejoicing in the significant developments that have taken place since its establishment.

The Foundation Day celebrations were marked by a “Yuva Samabesh & Baktiatanusthan”.

Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria graced the occasion as chief guest and highlighted the role of Vidya Bharati in the entire nation. He also urges the public to work towards in development of the tea community in Assam. Yatindra Kumar Sharma, Joint Organizing Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidya Bharati Siksha Sansthan acted as Chief Speaker in the program and delivered a talk on the aspect of value-based education.

In the program, Raju Chaora, a social activist was also felicitated for his contribution to the field of education in tea garden Areas in the state. Ranjit Bora, president of the Trust marked his gratitude to all the well-wishers of the Trust for their supporting hand since its inception. The welcome address was delivered by Dr Dhiren Das Panika, coordinator of the programme.

In the introductory speech Dr Amal Bawri, Secretary of the Trust highlighted the vision and mission of the Trust and the unwavering commitment, resilience and dedication displayed by each Trustee member in making that vision a reality.

A cultural programme was also showcased by a team from Amsang Tea Estate. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Biren Koiri, a trustee.

Dr Pawan Tiwari, Organising Secretary of Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra, Dr Jagadindra Raichoudhury, Secretary of Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra, Dr Dibyajyoti Mahanta, president of Shishu Shiksha Samiti Assam, Kulendra Kumar Bhagawati, General Secretary, Shishu Shiksha Samiti Assam and many other dignitaries as well as other office bearers from various social organisations attended to make the program successful.
