Debabrata Rajkumar, the Founder & visionary behind Nature's Orbit, a “Climate Action” focused organization from North-Eastern India was the Resource person for the session. He has envisioned, designed & developed multiple projects to build sustainable communities addressing Climate Crisis & Environment Conservation and developed the concept of “Responsible Tourism” in conjunction with zero waste management and is the architect of a unique conclave series called “Regenerative - Restorative Planet”.
The interactive session was specially organised for the students of classes VI and VII where the resource person tried to create public awareness on the topic of climate change and to promote consciousness about their consumption patterns of natural resources. He was also honoured with the Jal Prahari Award by the Ministry of Jal Shakti this year. The school also organised a Day Out Programme cum Climate Action Workshop for the students of class VII at GG Eco Village, Duliajan.
