TELANGANA: The two-day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive meeting started in Hyderabad today.
The meeting will be attended by BJP national president JP Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of 19 states and other BJP senior leaders at Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
Earlier, on June 1 Chief Minister Sarma upon his arrival at the Hyderabad airport, the Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the BJP workers.
Taking to Twitter, CM wrote, "The warmth of the people of Telengana reflected in the enthusiastic welcome by karyakartas and senior leaders of @BJP4Telangana at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad humbled me."
Further the Assam Chief Minister also received a warm welcome from members of Assam Sammelan, a Hyderabad-based organisation of people of Assam.
The entire city of Hyderabad has donned a saffron hue with the BJP flags and banners ahead of the party's mega show.
Notably, this is the first time that a meeting is taking place with complete participation by the BJP national executive members since the Covid-19 pandemic.
