Assam COVID-19 situation again turns grim as the state has reported 45 positive cases so far. Within a gap of three days, three persons from three different districts of the state tested positive for the deadly virus. The latest case is reported in Cachar. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma last night tweeted, "One person from Cachar has tested positive for COVID-19. Total COVID- patients in Assam now stands at 45. 34 discharged, 1 death and active cases 10."
